Recently, we received an inquiry from an agricultural machinery manufacturer regarding **a keyway machining with a width of 4.76mm, which is an inch standard**. In the prototyping stage, it can be addressed with wire cutting. However, when considering mass production, selecting the appropriate method becomes crucial. Taking into account processing costs, delivery times, and reproducibility, it is necessary to find the optimal solution among broaching, slotting, and wire cutting.
